Born and raised in rural-ish New Jersey, Sara has a master's degree in education from Columbia University. For her undergraduate degree, she attended Emerson College, Rutgers University, Warren Wilson College, New Mexico State University, the College of Charleston, and Montreat College. Warren Wilson was her favorite, and she misses Asheville, N.C. sometimes.

Sara Benincasa is the co-host of Sirius Satellite Radio's "Get in Bed" on the Cosmo Channel (Sirius #111). Every weeknight from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., she and co-host Brian talk about doin' it.
